As part of the enrolment process, you will need to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) and Digital Literacy indicator Assessment. This assessment is used for reviewing your suitability for this course.

What resources do I need?

  • Laptop
  • Internet access
  • Students must provide their own Australian Standards (Paper or digital formats acceptable)
  • PPE such as
    • Safety Glasses
    • Safety Boots
    • Gloves
    • Long sleeve shirt and pants
  • It is requested that students provide their own:
    • Calibrated multimeter
    • An insulation tester with 250v, and 500v minimum ranges
    • Hand tools such as:
      •  Screwdrivers – slotted and Philips
      •  Pliers
      •  Side cutters

These above tools can be provided for use at training if required

Course Outcome

Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Australian Trade Training College (RTO 31399)

Where a student has a disability or learning difficulty, assessors will apply Australian Trade Training College reasonable adjustment to ensure that the student is not presented with artificial barriers to progress in the course.
